Often a queue on weekends but always efficient, order at counter, they bring it to table, usually quite quickly, food very nice and reasonably priced.
A really pleasant place to eat. Views of the sea, good food at extremely low prices. Quick and efficient.
I love this place. We come every time we visit Hornsea, which is every two years or so. It's got the feel of a traditional British "caff," but bigger and more refined. The selection of dishes is exactly what you'd expect, classic English fare, but always perfectly cooked and competently executed. There's nothing too fancy here, so if you're looking for budgie bonbons served in a lime air, look elsewhere. What you'll get is delicious, traditional grub in a friendly, clean environment with lovely views of the sea, served by friendly attentive staff, with a wonderful atmosphere, at reasonable prices.
