Stayed in Barley Edge with family for my daughter's 30th birthday. It was fantastic, everything was high standard and spotless. Plenty of films,games and not to mention the hot tub so we had plenty to do. A warm and inviting place to stay, we'll be going back.

Good place for a quiet break close to the coast
Lovely self catering accommodation, perfect for several couples sharing. Large kitchen dining table with everything you need to create large meals including Rayburn to keep the place toasty as well.
We stayed here to celebrate my retirement and all enjoyed ourselves. The farmhouse easily accommodated our family in a range of large comfortable bedrooms. There was extra linen and towels available if needed. The choice of 2 lounges allowed us to watch TV or retire quietly away from each other. The log fire was especially welcome during the unseasonally cool evenings. The large kitchen/diner was suitable for all of us for breakfast or evening meal. There were all the utensils and crockery needed whether it was a hurried snack or a full meal. At time during our stay we played lawn games at the front of the house.The owner and his family live on site in the extensive range of farm buildings and were available if needed.A mile down the road is the Swan Inn at Seaton. We enjoyed 3 meals there and were impressed with the extensive range of homecooked meals. Friendly staff and reasonable rates added to the experience. The Swan Inn is only small so I would recommend you book a table a few hours in advance.I recommend Brockholme Farmhouse to anyone requiring large family accommodation.
